Overview
The house was built as a recreational home that takes advantage of the steep slope of the home, and the available view of the lake. The family wanted lots of deck space and large sun-facing windows that take advantage of the weather that close to the 49th. There is plenty of space for fishing and hunting many different species. Many of which is popular in the area due to the amount of rivers, grasslands, wetlands, streams, and lakes for their survival.
Location
Located in the region of the East Kootenay's, in the heart of Lake Koocanusa. Our custom home design and build was just 3.5 hours from Calgary and nestled between southeastern BC's mountain resort communities of Fernie and Cranbrook.
